Dutch Bantams – we have a few show birds here at CdM – from a local breeder and judge, Johnny Sprouse. Though I have not been showing them much, we do get fresh eggs every day and cheap insect control. Plus, they are just charming to watch, snuggly, sweet and I love the soft cooing sounds they occasionally make. Recently, Ed also bought some Quail – we are looking forward to fresh eggs from them, too, once they mature.
